To become an Associate Member of the PF, you must be aged 18 or over; must consider yourself to be a Pagan and must accept the three principles of the Pagan Federation:
If you feel you can live within those boundaries and would like to join us, please write a letter about yourself, telling how you became interested in Paganism, your experiences with it, whether you told your friends and family and if so, how they reacted, any books you've found particularly helpful, your particular interests, and anything else you might think relevant. People new to Paganism who are sincere seekers are welcome, as well as experienced Pagans. Once we receive your letter we will send you an invitation to join the Pagan Federation, along with a form to fill in and return with payment of the appropriate membership fee. Do not send membership fees until you have received an invitation to join. After a year as an Associate member, you will be eligible to become a Full voting member of the PF; and after a further year of Full Membership you will be able to stand for election to the PF Committee, or for any other Office within our administration. Note that only the senior offices are constitutionally restricted to established Full members; there is no shortage of junior positions both Associate and non-members may volunteer for if you wish to help in the running of the Pagan Federation International. Non-subscribing Associate Membership costs £8/yr¹ and partners sharing the same address may become joint members for an additional £4/yr. (Both partners must sign the application form and we need an introductory letter from each of them. Space is provided on the back of the form, or you may attach additional pages if needed.) Associate Membership with a subscription to Pagan Dawn is £20/yr¹. Partners sharing the same address may become joint members for an additional £4/yr. This membership includes all of the benefits listed above, plus a subscription to Pagan Dawn. Full Membership, both subscribing and non-subscribing, are currently the same price as Associate memberships. Application Form: You can request an application from the National Coordinator at The Pagan Federation - Australia or you can get one online. Completed applications, including a money order made out to The Pagan Federation in pounds sterling¹, must be mailed in as we need a hard copy of your agreement to the Three Principles. Due to lengthy processing times, it is recommended that you either mail your completed membership form to the National Coordinator for a quick check for completeness, or advise me by email when mailing directly to the UK so we can track its progress. ¹ The Pagan Federation, being originally a UK organisation, has all its memberships and the like in Pounds Sterling- London won't process an application accompanied by any other currency. If you wish to pay in Australian currency then you will need to post your form(s) and the equivalent in $AUD to the National Coordinator (Australia) at the above address. Please have any cheques made out to Julia Phillips, as the PFI - Australia doesn't yet have a bank account. |
